"Bang!!"I knew that sound was the front door but I closed my eyes and wished it wasn't the one on the Dad's side.

After that was just a nightmare.The baby cheetah was fine but not my dad.At the time our car stopped moving,dad was already fallen out.Hurtfully,I quickly ran out and went next to dad.I coudn't belive how bluddy he was.Me and mom cried for ages.We had his feunural on the 21st of December,2010.

"I can't believe it's already been five years from then.You've got so big!You're 18 now!"Mom admitted with her eyes flooded with tears.She pulled me close and hugged me hard like she did on the last day of Africa.Trustingly and lovingly.

"I love you,I'll never let you go."Mom whispered.

“Mom?Can we go to Deann?I'm so hungry."

"Sure me too!"

We both got ready and went out for lunch.I like living here with my mom.In this yummy city,Paris. Since I don't go to university or a college,mom lives with me and we go everywhere together.It's a lot different to Africa but I like to think that it's a brand new life for me and it's been great.

Brand new life

It has always been one of my biggest dreams to build my dream house in front of the beach.I knew this guy could help.I felt the energy.I went on a bicycle to get some breakfast this morning.Then this Hawaiian guy called Iz,who was all chubby and I think he's about the age of 35.He asked me if I wanted a private beach in Hawaii.I was shocked but I felt like I was in heaven.I quickly gave him my email address and drove back home as fast as I can.

"Mom!Mom!Guess what?!"I asked Mom and laughed at the same time.

"Whats going on today?"

"This guy called Iz asked me if I wanted to have a private beach in Hawaii!!"

"Really??That's amazing Velvet!"

Mom and I took contact with Iz and checked flights from Paris to Hawaii.I know it's a long way there but if I could it would be a dream come true.

The day I would never forget

Today is the day!

"Are you ready yet Velvet?"I asked Mom walking around our house saying goodbye to everything.The gorgeous town,the food and the people.Hawaii was an island that I have always dreamed of.

"I'm ready Mom!!"My heart was set.I was ready to start my new adventure.As soon as we're arrived to the airport,we got on the plain a I was sleeping the first 2 hours so it seemed so fast...

"You excited?"Mom asked me like I was going to a new school or something.
